Hi we're the Byron Stand Up Paddle Team; Ricky, Krystal and our super SUP dog Bobby (now retired but he'll always be a part of our team). We love what we do and would love to take you on a relaxing paddle in our slice of paradise.

As the owner/operator of the business we really care about what we do and do all we can to make sure you have a fun and memorable experience.

​

We know trying new things can be daunting, so we personalise every tour, starting with our stand up paddle (SUP) lesson on land and then we do all we can to help you feel cool, calm and confident standing up on the water and soaking in the beautiful surroundings.

​

We feel so lucky to be born and bred in the beautiful Northern Rivers area and we love to show off a different side to our spectacular corner of the world with our unique paddle boarding tour.

We first got into paddle boarding when Ricky injured his knee surfing and discovered the benefits of paddle boarding for his rehabilitation. We were so happy to discover a way to enjoy mornings on the water again! Now we love being paddle boarding specialists and sharing the fun of paddle boarding with everyone! We've had 3 to 73 year olds out enjoying the adventure with us. We love that paddle boarding suits a wide variety of people and you can stand, kneel or sit on the board however suits you.

We love being outdoors and exploring nature, we also enjoy meeting people from around the world and sharing stories and experiences. Since December 2014 we've been fortunate enough to combine lifestyle with career, taking over Byron Stand Up Paddle and living the dream running our SUP tours on the beautiful Brunswick River and sharing our relaxing adventure with thousands of people. The river is our second back yard and from years of experience we know all her twists and bends to be able to tailor each tour to the conditions depending on the tide and winds.

We look forward to sharing a relaxing adventure with you. We'll have a lot of fun paddle boarding, see some beautiful scenery, enjoy some peaceful moments and hopefully catch some glimpses of wildlife along the way. Back on shore, we'll enjoy some delicious homemade goodies, where you'll be telling us "it was easier than I expected!" and be keen to see your photos, to be able to show off to friends and family.
